In an effort to provide relief for those impacted by Hurricane Ida, RentSpree will be waiving application fees for victims who need to rent property as a result of forced evacuation and/or property damage from the storm.

On Sunday August 28th, Hurricane Ida made landfall in New Orleans, Louisiana, 16 years to the day of the category 3 Hurricane Katrina that brought significant destruction to the city. Ida has cut power for millions in New Orleans and caused “catastrophic” wind damage, as well as a life-threatening storm surge, flooding, and heavy rainfall, according to the National Hurricane Center.

On Monday, the President of the United States made a major disaster declaration to free up resources for rescue and recovery. With that in mind, RentSpree has decided to contribute to the recovery efforts in Louisiana with a special offer to assist those who have been impacted by this storm.

For any agent, owners, or landlords working with victims displaced due to evacuation or property damage from the hurricane, RentSpree will refund any application fees processed by RentSpree as they seek rental housing*.  Just have applicants call (323-515-7757) or email [email protected] after they submit an application through RentSpree and we will gladly process a refund. You can also donate directly to the American Red Cross as they assist victims of Hurricane Ida.The RentSpree team offers our sincerest condolences for those families that have been impacted by Hurricane Ida.

*Offer valid for claims made on or before 12/31/2021. Only fees paid directly to RentSpree are eligible for reimbursement.
