In an effort to provide relief for those impacted by Hurricane Ida, RentSpree will be waiving application fees for victims who need to rent property as a result of forced evacuation and/or property damage from the storm.

On Sunday August 28th, Hurricane Ida made landfall in New Orleans, Louisiana, 16 years to the day of the category 3 Hurricane Katrina that brought significant destruction to the city. Ida has cut power for millions in New Orleans and caused “catastrophic” wind damage, as well as a life-threatening storm surge, flooding, and heavy rainfall, according to the National Hurricane Center.

On Monday, the President of the United States made a major disaster declaration to free up resources for rescue and recovery. With that in mind, RentSpree has decided to contribute to the recovery efforts in Louisiana with a special offer to assist those who have been impacted by this storm.
