How theMLS and RentSpree are changing the rental game

Real estate is changing fast. Rising home prices and mortgage rates have pushed more households into renting, while investors are leaning on rental properties as a stable, long-term play. For agents, that means the rental side of the business has never been more important.

The challenge? Most of the industry’s tools and resources have always been built around buying and selling. Rentals often get left behind, leaving agents to piece together workflows and miss out on business they could be capturing.

That changes now. Because theMLS is taking a bold step forward.

Through their partnership with RentSpree, theMLS is one of the first MLSs in the nation to embed a full suite of rental-focused tools directly into the MLS platform. These tools are designed specifically to help members grow their rental business.

With these new tools, theMLS is setting a new precedent for how rentals are supported, scaled, and integrated within the MLS, finally giving agents the same level of innovation and infrastructure that for-sale transactions have enjoyed for decades.
