Central Virginia Regional MLS and RentSpree Partner to Add Free Tenant Screening

RentSpree is announcing a new partnership with Central Virginia Regional MLS (CVRMLS) that brings free tenant screening directly into its agents’ MLS platform. This integration, launching August 11, gives over 8,000 CVRMLS members an additional tool they need to compete in an increasingly rental-focused market.

As Richmond's rental market is booming, CVRMLS members have faced a fundamental challenge managing rentals. This looks like disconnected, vendor-heavy workflows, where  applications come in through the MLS, but screening requests have to leave the platform to go to a third party. After this, leases are signed elsewhere. This means friction for agents and inconsistent experiences for tenants and landlords.

Now, RentSpree is helping CVRMLS embed free screening tools directly into their workflow. Agents can screen tenants for their clients with no cost and no learning curve, meaning the booming rental market is increasingly open for business.
