Summary

RentSpree is celebrating its 10-year anniversary by announcing a philanthropic partnership with World Housing, a non-profit that builds safe homes for families living in extreme poverty. Through their new Giving Back Program, RentSpree will donate $0.10 for every property rep who signs up in 2026, with funds going toward initiatives like the Girls Safe House in Zambia. It's a milestone moment that reflects RentSpree's commitment to using its growth and success to create meaningful impact beyond the rental industry.

No matter which side you start the story, it’s about putting roofs over people’s heads. As we reach the massive milestone of our 10-year anniversary, RentSpree is excited to announce a new philanthropic partnership with World Housing

The Perfect Partnership

World Housing is a registered non-profit organization whose mission is to build safe homes for families living in extreme poverty. To date, World Housing has developed communities in 9 countries, with over 1,100 homes built and 100+ more homes in progress this year.

Upon our 10-year anniversary, RentSpree leadership asked an important question about the legacy they want to continue to build. It is a question World Housing poses to all great thought leaders, and purpose-led organizations: Who is crazy enough to cast the stones that create the ripples that will change the world?

The RentSpree team answered passionately. We are.

“When Paul and I were studying entrepreneurship at Pepperdine, our professor always challenged us: even if you’re building a for-profit company, how are you giving back? Today feels like a full-circle moment because we’re finally able to build that principle into RentSpree.” – Michael Lucarelli, CEO & Co-Founder

RentSpree is Committed to Change

Driven by our world-class team, we’ve made an impact by helping connect more than 4 million people to a more trustworthy, streamlined, safe rental experience. And now RentSpree is leveraging this success to help put a roof over the heads of people who need it most.

We believe that our growth as a company shouldn’t just be for our own benefit. As we enter a new era of RentSpree, we’re launching the Giving Back Program, an approach which will share our success by partnering with World Housing, whose values and goals align so strongly with our own.

Our Impact for 2026

In partnership with World Housing, RentSpree will be contributing $0.10 for every property rep who signs up with us in 2026, which will go directly towards one of World Housing’s inspiring communities like the Girls Safe House in Zambia. This is an incredible opportunity for all layers of our business community to be a part of something bigger than any of us could achieve on our own. Together we will build a legacy of hope and change the trajectory of poverty for future generations.

This innovative Safe House gives young women a secure, reliable and protected place to call home while also giving them access to education that would otherwise be out of reach. With this safety, stability, and support, young girls are given the tools they need to build a brighter future for themselves. Communities like these are the natural evolution of programs like RENEW—the Real Estate Network of Empowered Women—which allows us to use our strengths to make real change and transform lives.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this milestone, and allowed us the opportunity to take the first step into making global change. We couldn’t be more grateful for the endless dedication and tenacity of our team, and the support and trust of our clients and customers.

As Michael said, “Above all, I want everyone to know that you’re all owners of this initiative.”

Here’s to the bright future we’re forging together.
