LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – Emerging real estate technology company RentSpree has announced that it has closed its Friends and Family round of funding at $120,000.
With the funding in place, RentSpree can now begin to take the steps toward becoming the new standard method of collecting rental applications. RentSpree is currently developing their flagship product, the Universal Online Rental Application, with the help of these funds.
The Universal Online Rental Application allows applicants to submit the same application for multiple properties, and saves them from repeatedly filling out the same application when applying to more than one rental property. The application is scheduled for release in late 2016.
The funds will also go to the creation of a website, research, and various other resources necessary to build an incorporated company.

RentSpree is a Los Angeles based real estate technology company that is on the verge of creating a cutting edge tool that allows renters to easily apply to rental properties. This tool will automate the time-intensive process of applying for multiple properties and greatly reduces friction for REALTORS who need to screen applicants.
RentSpree was started by three current Pepperdine MBA students in the Graziadio School of Business and Management. The trio of co-founders are set to graduate in April 2016.
