With more than 40,000 students, CSUN is considered one of the largest comprehensive universities in California, in terms of enrollment.
The CSUN Housing department provides on-campus housing to its students. However, due to the flexibility and affordability, many students still opt to live in Northridge apartments close to school, or other cities around such as Canoga Park, Tarzana, Winnetka and Reseda.
In all of these areas, transportation to and from the school is quite convenient. There are a few public transportation options that make it simple for students to travel to and from apartments near CSUN and the campus.
CSUN Housing department advises students to be careful when renting an apartment. Make sure to follow all legal processes and remember that you're responsible for your own safety!
